Epoxy floors, polished concrete and concrete repair in Brossard
Brossard is about thirty kilometres from our office. We get there over the Samuel-De Champlain Bridge, or through the tunnel and along the 132 and Autoroute 30 when traffic toward downtown is too heavy. The city has two faces: quiet residential streets split into sectors named by letter, and a fast-growing hub of stores and residential towers around Quartier DIX30, Solar Uniquartier and the REM stations.

Underground parking in the newer towers
A number of the buildings that went up around DIX30 and Solar have underground parking. Every winter those slabs take salt-laden water, and tire scrub eventually wears the concrete down at the entrances and along the drive aisles.
For a condo board we propose solid-colour or flake epoxy, a 4-inch cove base, custom stainless-steel drain covers and the abrasion-resistant EF-290 polyaspartic topcoat. The sections are scheduled with the property manager so residents can always get to their cars.
In a newer tower, the parking slab is sometimes handed over as bare concrete. Protecting it early, before the salt works its way in winter after winter, cuts down on the repairs ahead. In an older garage we start instead by mapping the cracks and scaled areas, which are repaired with epoxy or polyurea before any coating goes on.
Residential sectors, oldest to newest
Outside the commercial hub, Brossard is a suburb of detached and semi-detached homes, often with an attached garage. That is where we do flake-epoxy garages and basements in metallic or solid-colour epoxy.
The sectors built first, near Boulevard Taschereau and the 132, generally have slabs that have had time to crack. The ones built later, toward Autoroute 30, have younger concrete that still has to be ground for the epoxy to bond.
Showrooms and shops at DIX30 and on Taschereau
Dealerships, restaurants, clinics and boutiques want a floor that looks sharp and handles foot traffic. Polished concrete, ground and densified to a matte, satin, semi-gloss or gloss finish, keeps the look of concrete. Metallic epoxy, with pearlescent pigment worked by hand, gives you a floor unlike any other.
We time our work around the store’s opening, or with the general contractor when it is a new fit-out.
Thirty kilometres, well planned
Brossard is one of the areas farthest from Anjou, so we hit the road early, ahead of rush hour on the bridges. In winter, underground garages and commercial units are handled just as in summer, since they are indoor spaces.
Frequently asked questions
Do you work in condo parking garages?
Yes. We walk the garage with the property manager or a board member, note the cracks, drains and worn areas, then hand over a quote that breaks the job into sections.
Which parts of Brossard do you serve?
The whole city: the lettered residential sectors, Quartier DIX30, Solar Uniquartier and the stores along Boulevard Taschereau. Longueuil and Boucherville have their own pages.
Can a showroom stay open during the work?
Partly. Working zone by zone, one part of the floor stays open while the other is under way. Each zone does have to stay closed until its finish is complete.
My garage slab has sunk. Do you replace slabs in Brossard?
Yes. When a garage or basement slab has given way or cracked right through, we saw-cut it, take it out, prepare the ground and pour a new one. The quote tells you plainly whether a repair would do instead.
How does the estimate work?
Call us at 514-659-9802 or fill in the form at the bottom of the page. We come out, measure, look at the condition of the concrete and give you a detailed written quote. The estimate is free and there is no obligation.
